Advent is the official start of the church year. I have yet to understand why people give me really weird looks when I start shouting "Happy New Year" at the end of November... but they do! Maybe it's because I allow the "p" in "happy" to hang in the air for a super long amount of time, maybe it's because they think my calendar is off by a month, maybe it's both.
But with the new year quickly approaching, Crosspointe is getting in the spirit by starting something new... a blog that will hopefully provide an additional space to connect with one another, openly and honestly ask tough questions, and reflect on the intersection between faith in Jesus and real everyday life. I am not sure how all of this will unfold, but I pray that God uses this electronic space in amazing ways for you.
